Hit and miss I'm afraid. The first time we went for an evening meal, great food, warm service (female maitre de then) perfect lighting that set great ambiance. This year I went for lunch and the calamari was old and chewy and the batter soft. It was delicately dollopped with wilting, dry rocket. The seafood linguine was less than appealing, over cooked tomatoe sauce had turned it bitter, I cook better myself. And BO on a waiter is never pleasant. The only saving grace, well not really, the tiramisu was nice.

Our other favorite restraunt. Very good food well worth a visit.

Always a joy going to Paolino's. Quality ingredients freshly made and no more expensive than the chain restaurants. My wife needs gluten and dairy-free food and she still gets a fantastic pasta and sauce. I tend to go for the pizza which is always excellent.I can't believe they aren't busier but assume this is because they are right up at the top end of the village.Definitely recommended for any occasion.

Went as part of a large group - 47 people. Some of us were onto our mains and others still hadn't received their starters. I can appreciate that it is difficult with so many people but it would have been acceptable if the food wasn't so disappointing. The final bill was also disputed because we were charged twice for some of the steaks which had to be returned because they were inedible.Other than these problems, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great.

Shocking excuse for a restaurant. It's a real pity as the standard used to be so incredibly high. Food was greasy, swimming in oil and off. When we politely complained the manager tried to tell us that it was meant to be cooked that way but my family is from monfalcone in Italy and I knew this wasn't the case. The manager literally screamed in my face and questioned my family heritage insisting I wasn't Italian and didn't know what I was taking about which was an insult to say the least. They then had the cheek to aggressively kick us out of the restaurant! Waving her hands around, shouting in front of other customers and slamming the door behind us! Was he MOST unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed! My sister and I have never been thrown out of anywhere in our lives and are very calm polite people and were mortified! Was going to come here for uncles 70th but never coming back again!
